Skyfall: James Bond’s new Q revealed
Here's the first official look at 007's new Quartermaster, played by the talented Ben Whishaw.
The character is back on the big screen after 10 years. We previously saw Q in 'Die Another Day', but the character was absent from Daniel Craig's last two Bond films, 'Casino Royale' and 'Quantum of Solace'.

31-year-old Whishaw is no Desmond Llewelyn (then again nobody is), but we're excited to see the new, much younger incarnation of legendary gadget master Q in 'Skyfall'.
There's not a lot to be said of the picture itself other than Q doesn't seem to be paying Bond much attention. The character has always been more excited about his gadgets.
Whishaw is best known for his starring role in last year's BBC drama 'The Hour', and was most recently seen in a television adaptation of William Shakespeare's 'Richard II', in which he played the lead.
His film career has seen him take roles alongside Craig in 2004's 'Layer Cake', as well as parts in 'Perfume: The Story of Murder' and Bob Dylan biopic 'I'm Not There'. He will be seen later this year in Tom Hanks flick 'Cloud Atlas'.
Craig returns as Bond with 'American Beauty' director Sam Mendes behind the camera for 'Skyfall'. It is released on 26 October 2012.
