Radio controlled Man of Steel swoops on a South California Beach

Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it’s an amazing radio controlled Superman that appeared in the skies above South California.

Spotted by two passing cyclists on the Pacific Coast Highway, this particular Man of Steel was custom made by an unnamed enthusiast

“During our casual conversation, we had to stop because we saw Superman flying overhead,” said YouTube user triathlonky about his unexpected encounter with the hero. “I grabbed the only thing I had on me, my cell phone, and recorded the second flight… but how cool, it even had a cape.”

You can catch the real thing, or at least Henry Cavill, in ‘Man Of Steel’, out June 2013.
