Bollywood’s ‘Bangistan’ to Shoot in Poland
HONG KONG – Upcoming Bollywood comedy action film “Bangistan” is to shoot principally in Krakow, Poland
The film is to be directed by Karan Anshuman and will shoot for 40 days in and around the historical city.
The picture stars Riteish Deshmukh (pictured) and Pulkit Samrat as two rival, blundering terrorists, and is produced by leading Indian studio Excel Entertainment (“Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara,” “Rock On”), which previously shot its “Don 2” in Berlin, Germany.
Polish company Alvernia Studios will provide line production services and handle Polish distribution rights. Alvernia previously provided color grading and sound design for Indian indie “Bhaag Milkha Bhaag.”
