There’s no denying that the biggest film release of the week is Borat 2.
The comedy sequel, officially titled Borat Subsequent Moviefilm: Delivery of Prodigious Bribe to American Regime for Make Benefit Once Glorious Nation of Kazakhstanm, will not be coming to cinemas though as it’s an Amazon exclusive, launching globally on 23 October.
But what does that mean, and how can you watch it this weekend?
Borat 2 UK release date
The release of Sacha Baron Cohen’s long-awaited follow up to his iconic 2006 mockumentary Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan has been timed to land two weeks before the US election for maximum damage.
Borat 2 will be available to stream on Amazon Prime Video on Friday, 23 October.
How to watch Amazon Prime Video
Prime Video is the streaming platform of the online retail giant Amazon.

Borat Subsequent Moviefilm will be available to stream from 23 October, so as long as you have a valid subscription to Prime Video, you should be good to go as soon as your popcorn is ready.
As it’s an Amazon Prime Original, there is no extra charge to watch the film, and you can watch it as many times as you like, as long as you remain subscribed to Prime Video.

Borat Subsequent Moviefilm has been rated ‘Fresh’ on review aggregator site Rotten Tomatoes. It currently has an 83% approval rating from 104 reviews counted so far.
Metro’s film critic called it: “Sacha Baron Cohen’s funniest, edgiest, greatest movie since Borat 1”, while the BBC said the film is: “urgently satirical”.
