Brad Bird Doesn’t Know If The Pizza Planet Truck Is In The Incredibles, And He Doesn’t Care Too

Even though it’s widely regarded as Pixar’s most endearing trait, Brad Bird has admitted that he couldn’t care less if the studio managed to sneak the Pizza Planet Truck into ‘The Incredibles’.

Pixar aficionados have been searching for definitive proof that the Pizza Planet Truck is in ‘The Incredibles’ ever since the superhero flick hit screens back in 2004. And even though fans claim to have spotted it hidden in the background of numerous scenes, it’s still not been officially pointed out.

The one man you’d think who’d know exactly where the Pizza Planet Truck is in ‘The Incredibles’ would be its writer and director Brad Bird. The problem is though Brad Bird really doesn’t care about the Pizza Planet Truck, and he’s admitted that if it is in ‘The Incredibles’ then he had nothing to do with it.

While out promoting ‘Tomorrowland’ Brad Bird was asked about the clandestine vehicle by The Huffington Post, and the filmmaker was entirely nonplussed.

“I don’t know,” he remarked. “I was busy making the movie. I didn’t think about the Pizza Planet, so I would not be surprised if it was in there and I would not be surprised if somebody got it in there when they were building the sets.”

When probed even further about the Pizza Planet Truck and was asked whether his team of animators could possibly have snuck it in, Bird was rather brazen with his answer, finally explaining, “I just had other things on my mind.”

Brad Bird’s less than concrete answer will only infuriate Pixar fans as ‘The Incredibles’ is the only film that that the Pizza Planet Truck doesn’t appear in. However Brad Bird can go someway to making up for this oversight by finding room for the automobile in ‘The Incredibles 2′, which he is currently writing and is probably directing too.
