Brad Pitt fed up of Shia LaBeouf's refusal to shower on Fury set

Method acting has upset several colleagues.

According to reports, Shia LaBeouf's determination to practice method acting has become something of a problem on the set of WWII drama, Fury.

In trying to prove his dedication to the role, LaBeouf has apparently upset several colleagues - including co-stars Brad Pitt, Jason Isaacs, and director David Ayer.

A source told the Daily Mail: "Shia was warned about his behaviour by several people on set, including Brad Pitt and director David Ayer.

"He didn’t heed any of their warnings and found himself staying in a small bed-and-breakfast hotel away from the rest of the cast.

"Shia drove everyone mad on set trying to prove that he was the most dedicated star.

"He pulled out  his own tooth during the first few weeks of filming and then refused to shower for weeks on end so he could better understand how his character would have felt living in the trenches."

This latest bizarre behaviour from LaBeouf comes after he was forced to publicly apologise to screenwriter Daniel Clowes for plagiarising the plot of his graphic novel Justin M. Damiano in the short film, HowardCantour.com.

The film, which follows a crew of Americans in Nazi Germany as they embark on a brave mission towards the end of the war, is set to hit cinemas in October.
