Brad Pitt looks gaunt in shocking new pictures

Brad Pitt was snapped looking shockingly thin yesterday, as he turned up at a Los Angeles art studio.

The ‘Fury’ star appeared gaunt as he arrived at British artist Thomas Houseago’s studio, where, according to reports, he’s been making a sculpture.

The Daily Mail reports that he’s been spending as much as 15 hours a day working on the project.

Pitt was notably absent during awards season, though he made a brief appearance at the Golden Globes in January.

His production company Plan B was behind the movie ‘Moonlight’, yet he did not take to the stage with it’s stars and director Barry Jenkins when it won the Oscar for Best Picture.

Instead, he was said to have been at the studio working.

A source said: “He spends all night working on his art and listening to emotional songs.

“Everybody knows it’s related to what’s going on with him personally, but nobody says anything. He’s a quiet guy, and very humble. He’s learning at a fast pace.

“Art is a way for him to concentrate on one thing, taking his mind off everything else. He’d rather do that and be constructive than go out partying.”

His next project will be military drama ‘War Machine’, directed by David Michôd, to be released by Netflix, an co-starring Ben Kingsley, Emory Cohen, Tilda Swinton and Anthony Michael Hall.
