X-Men: Apocalypse’ director Bryan Singer has shared some interesting concept art for his forthcoming sci-fi superhero blockbuster.

In the story Apocalypse, aka En Sabah Nur, is born in ancient Egypt and his beleieved to be the first mutant. He goes on to become an all-powerful bein, which in tandem with his staunch belief in a “survival of the fittest” ehtos, causes some problems.
Upon learning about Ship, En Sabah Nur enters the sentient AI spacecraft and emerges as Apocalypse, who wears a technolgoically advanced suit. Ship then serves as his base of operations as he returns to Earth.
Bryan Singer shared a lot of snaps from production of his last film ‘X-Men: Days of Future Past’ and looks se tto do the same with its sequel. He has already shared snaps of the famous X-Men door, Professor X (James McAvoy’s) wheelchair and a mock-up of the X-Men mansion.
Last month he also revealed three new cast memebers through social media, breaking the news that Sophie Turner is the new Jean Grey, Tye Sheridan is the new Cyclops and Alexandra Shipp is the new Storm.
They will join returning prequel series stars McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence and Nicholas Hoult, as well as stalwarts Hugh Jackman and - as recently revealed - Ian McKellan as the elder version of Fassbender’s Magneto.
'X-Men: Apocalypse' will be released on 19 May 2016.
