It looks like Jurassic World 3 is sparing no expense in recruiting stars from the original Jurassic Park back to offer some expert dino-consultancy.

Rumours have circulated suggesting that Sam Neill's Alan Grant, Laura Dern's Ellie Sattler and Jeff Goldblum's Ian Malcolm could be back in the fold for the new movie.

And after being thrown an unexpected question by MTV at the premiere of Rocketman, Jurassic World star Bryce Dallas Howard managed to all but confirm it.

She explains that she's 'freaking out' about the plans, which pretty much says it all.

Asked if she's is excited at the non-confirmed prospect of scenes with the Jurassic legends, she said: “Yes, very much so.

“I don't know what's been confirmed or whatever, but I'll blink if it's happening maybe...”

The actress did appear to be blinking, but then there were a fair few flashbulbs on that red carpet.

Jeff Goldblum did appear in a brief cameo in Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, reprising his role as chaos theorist Dr. Ian Malcolm, the smooth-talking mathematician from the first Jurassic Park.

But throwing in Neill and Dern's leading characters would be a coup for the third movie.

JW star Chris Pratt has also previously hinted that Dern's Sattler is going to be turning up on screen, saying that he was 'blown away' when he heard the pitch for the third movie's story.

Fallen Kingdom did pretty staggering business at the box office, making $1.3 billion in all, following Jurassic World's $1.6 billion in 2015.

But we're going to have to wait a while yet until we see Pratt, Dallas Howard, and (potentially) Dern, Neill and Goldblum on screen – Jurassic World 3 isn't due to hit cinemas until June 11, 2021.
