Caitlyn Jenner booted out of I'm A Celeb - but has no one waiting for her at the end of the bridge

Caitlyn Jenner’s eviction from the jungle made I’m A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here history last night - as she became the first person voted out not to have a loved one waiting for them at the end of the bridge.

The reality TV star and former Olympian was part of a brutal double elimination alongside former Girls Aloud member Nadine Coyle.

While the singer was met by sister Charmaine, Jenner walked the rickety bridge out of the camp to find no one had made the effort to be there to greet her.

The snub from her famous family isn’t the first on the show for the 70-year-old.

While watching campmates received letters from from loved ones, Jenner received an impersonal note, presumably from Sophia Hutchins, her partner and housemate, which mostly discussed their dogs - there was nothing from mega star daughters Kendall or Kylie Jenner, or step-daughters Kim, Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian.

The not from Hutchins read: "You are doing such an amazing job in the jungle.

"Show these Brits that American Olympian endurance.

"The dogs and I miss you so much, we decorated the house but Baxter tore the lights off the trees already so it’s waiting for you to fix it."

Despite the snub, Jenner seemed upbeat while talking to show hosts And and Dec after being booted out.

She said: “It was tough. I came here to test myself, obviously I did this show 16 years ago, turned 70 and thought what a challenge. I knew it wasn't going to be easy.

“Over the last three weeks, I've met some of the greatest people. There wasn't one person who was causing any trouble.

“I can't believe I made it all the way to three weeks and so it was great. I hate to leave them behind but I'm ready to get out.”

Just four contestants now remain in the show, with Corrie’s Andy Whyment, Radio DJ Roman Kemp, TV presenter Kate Garraway and former Eastender Jacqueline Jossa all fighting to be named King or Queen of The Jungle.
