But now Carrie Fisher has explained why she’s decided to reveal all about her three-month fling with Harrison Ford while filming the first ‘Star Wars’ movie.

“It’s been 40 years!,” she told People magazine.

“I didn’t say anything to anybody for years but it’s not like anyone’s deeply affected by it anymore. Harrison’s very private, but I think I waited an appropriate amount of time. How much longer could I wait?”
