The Cast of 'Harry Potter' Reunited 19 Years After the First Film Premiered
The gang got back together on a live stream hosted by Tom Felton.
It's been 19 years since Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (or Philosopher's Stone, if you're in the U.K.) hit theaters, and to celebrate, the gang got back together. Tom Felton, who played Hogwarts bully Draco Malfoy, hosted a virtual reunion on the streaming platform Veeps on November 14th, and the nostalgia was almost too much to handle.
Felton was joined by his former costars Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter), Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley), Jason Isaacs (Lucius Malfoy), Alfred Enoch (Dean Thomas), James and Oliver Phelps (Fred and George Weasley), Evanna Lynch (Luna Lovegood), Mark Williams (Arthur Weasley), and Bonnie Wright (Ginny Weasley).
The cast members divulged some hilarious behind-the-scenes secrets like Grint's inability to not laugh during the most inappropriate scenes—Dumbledore's funeral, for example—which got him the nickname "Go Again Grint."

And Felton revealed that the chemistry between Grint and Emma Watson (Hermione Granger), who sadly did not attend the live stream, was nothing in comparison to the chemistry between Felton and Grint.

Isaacs talked about the pleasure it gave him watching Felton grow up from being a little boy to a "free-spirited" man, and the father-son bond these two have is just gut-wrenchingly sweet.

And Radcliffe teased that this reunion of sorts is a "mere preview" to the celebrations that will undoubtedly be had when the first film of the Harry Potter franchise turns 20 next year.

Fun was had by all—both cast mates and viewers. And the tag #19YEARSLATER became chock-full of nostalgia-inducing clips and fan freak outs over the reunion.

If this is just a preview of the goodness to come next year, we need to start emotionally preparing ourselves now for the inevitable onslaught of feelings we'll have when the Harry Potter cast gets back together to do it all again (and hopefully in-person this time).
