Yahoo Movies Catherine Hardwicke to Helm Rachel Weisz Starrer ‘Miss You Already’
LONDON — Catherine Hardwicke will helm comedy drama “Miss You Already,” which will star Rachel Weisz and Toni Collette.
Morwenna Banks has penned the script, which centers on two lifelong friends living in London whose cozy friendship is shredded when one falls pregnant and the other falls sick.
The film shoots in the U.K. in September.
Producers are Christopher Simon and Felix Vossen of U.K. production outfit Embargo Films. The project is being repped in international markets by Salt, with CAA co‐repping in North America.
Hardwicke said: “When I met Morwenna Banks and read her script, I really felt her passion for this story — this is something she lived through. She managed to take real life and turn it into a powerful, laugh-and-cry-out-loud screenplay.”
