Channing Tatum tipped for Knievel

11 July 2012

Channing Tatum could be set to star in a movie about stuntman Evil Knievel, according to reports.

The Hollywood Reporter said that the Magic Mike actor was also in talks about producing the film.

Fifty Shades Of Grey duo Mike DeLuca and Dana Brunetti are also on board to produce.

Born Robert Craig Knievel, the daredevil stuntman, who is said to have suffered 433 broken bones, became a household name in the 1970s with his motorcycle jumps.

The US performer died in 2007 at the age of 69.

The Hollywood Reporter said that the film will be based on Stuart Barker's 2008 book Life.
