IT: Chapter 2 is still adding stars to its cast list as the sequel filming gets underway.
The latest additions include Xavier Dolan who will play the role of Adrian Mellon, a young man in Derry who is in a relationship with Don Hagarty.
In the original novel by Stephen King, Adrian and Don are harassed by homophobic teens, beating up Don and throwing Adrian off a bridge where Pennywise emerges from the sewers and kills Adrian. Despite witnessing this, Don and the teens never mention it at the trial.
It's as yet unknown whether the brutal scene will be kept in the movie adaptation, though CinemaBlend reports it will be.
Meanwhile, the film has also cast Will Beinbrink as Tom Rogan, an abusive man who marries Beverley (played as an adult by Jessica Chastain) and takes pleasure in controlling her.
The novel describes Will as a copy of Bev's abusive father, often beating her and treating her as a sexual object.
IT: Chapter Two picks up in the present day – 27 years after the Losers' Club apparently defeated IT in the sewers of Maine. James McAvoy has been cast as the adult version of Bill Denbrough, played by Jaeden Lieberher as a child.
Bill Skarsgärd will also be returning as the shapeshifting Pennywise, and recently discussed getting back into the mindset of the killer clown.
"We're gearing up for it now, so I'm sort of in the process of getting back into that character of Pennywise," he explained. "I'm sort of in the mindset and we're gearing up for it.
"I think [the Losers' Club cast] start in July. I'm not sure exactly when my start date is, but some time this summer."
IT: Chapter Two will be released in UK cinemas on September 6, 2019.
