Chelsea assistant manager Jesus Perez has got both Blues and Tottenham fans talking after he posted a picture of his daughters on social media.
The Spaniard will be alongside his Argentine counterpart in the dugout on Monday night despite having admitted to a misconduct charge from the FA earlier this week.
He was charged aftter he broke loose and entered the Brentford technical area in their 2-0 defeat to the Bees that has left them 12th on the league table.
He has since been charged £4,000 and he’s accepted his punishment even though he’d be happy his not been banned from from being on the touchline against his former side.
There has been a huge build up ahead of the game- with both Tottenham and Chelsea fans going at each other but Perez has attempted to remind every one that love has no colour with a message on his socials.
On X, formerly known as Twitter, and Instagram, Perez posted two images of his daughters striking the same pose but years apart. One in Tottenham shirts from his time in north London, and one now in Chelsea kits. The Spaniard captioned the post: “#love is colour blind.”
Since Chelsea’s first game after the departure of manager Graham Potter (April 4 vs Liverpool), the Blues have won the fewest games of any ever-present Premier League side and only Bournemouth have managed as few points (both 18).
