Cher deletes tweet about President Trump but wants to make it clear she's not apologizing
Cher is apologizing for her recent tweets.
However, the music icon wants to make it clear that she's not apologizing to Donald Trump, but rather for her senseless joke about prison rape.
On Wednesday night, Cher took to Twitter to express her thoughts about Trump, impeachment and his history of alleged unethical real-estate deals. In a since-deleted tweet, the singer wrote "I Would *love* 2 See trump Impeached,Brought 2 Trial, *locked* Up In *prison* & Toy Boy Big Bubba!!"
On Thursday, Cher began her apology with "this is Not apology"

Prior to stepping back on her deleted-tweet, the 73-year-old entertainer posted a slew of statements condemning the president for variety of his actions.

This is not the first time Cher has expressed her animosity for Trump.
In April, the "Mamma Mia" star called him out for the transgender military ban tweeting that the legislation is another example of Trump "pandering to his rightwing base."
