Chris Evans wants to join Kevin Feige’s 'Star Wars' movie
The news that Kevin Feige is working on a Star Wars movie has provoked some of his former Marvel cohorts to declare their interest in joining the producer in the galaxy far, far away.
When they announced earlier this week that Feige is currently developing a new Star Wars movie for Disney, The Hollywood Reporter also teased that “Feige has told a major actor that there’s a specific role he would like that person to play if and when he makes the movie.”

As you can imagine this immediately sparked speculation over which actor Feige is interested in working with. Chris Evans, who starred as Captain America throughout the Marvel Cinematic Universe all the way up to Avengers: Endgame, didn’t waste any time putting his name forward for the film, taking to Twitter to show his interest.

Chris Evans wasn’t the only member of the MCU family to do so, though.
Brie Larson, who just so happens to be Captain Marvel, also took to Twitter to show off an image of her brandishing a lightsaber, in a Jedi cloak, while standing alongside C3PO.

Not only did it immediately set tongues wagging about her potential involvement in the Star Wars universe, but it was also just a sensational image for the internet to behold anyway.

Of course, we’re a long, long way from any casting news for Feige’s take on Star Wars. Instead, all we’ve got to go on is Disney co-chairman Alan Horn’s confirmation that, “With the close of the Skywalker Saga, Kathy is pursuing a new era in Star Wars storytelling, and knowing what a die-hard Kevin is, it made sense for these two extraordinary producers to work on a Star Wars film together.”
