Yahoo Movies Chris Hemsworth Shows Off His Hulk Hogan-Like Biceps in New Holiday Photo
Shooting for the latest Thor film begins in just a few days, but Chris Hemsworth isn’t stressing over those last few gym sessions. In fact, the actor—and his muscles—are on vacation. And if you had a physique like this, you'd be straight chillin' without a care, too.
In a new Instagram post, Hemsworth documented his relaxing island holiday, a final getaway before diving into filming Thor: Love and Thunder later this week. In the series of photos, Hemsworth poses with wife Elsa Pataky, his children and friends by the clear waters of Lord Howe Island, a crescent-shaped island between Australia and New Zealand in the Tasman Sea.
In the eight-photo set, Hemsworth poses both shirtless and in a blue tank top, showing off just how hard he’s been training to reprise his now-iconic role. Simply put, he's absolutely jacked.
“Great to get away for a few days to @visitlordhoweisland before starting on #thorloveandthunder this week,” Hemsworth captioned the Instagram shots. Note how the actor put the shirtless photo first in the set, and saved the pristine landscape snaps for last. Clearly, the man knows the type of views that fans are really looking to see.
Thor: Love and Thunder, which is set to release in May 2022, will film in Sydney, Australia. The fourth movie in the series is one of several Marvel Universe Films to reportedly start shooting in recent weeks, as the entertainment industry tries to rebound from the COVID-19 pandemic.
