Chris Pratt just got engaged to Katherine Schwarzenegger

Chris Pratt has announced his engagement to Katherine Schwarzenegger, after less than a year of dating.

The 39-year-old Guardians of the Galaxy star posted a snap of himself and 29-year-old Katherine embracing, his new fiancée boasting a rock the size of an Infinity Stone on her ring finger.

“Sweet Katherine, so happy you said yes! I’m thrilled to be marrying you. Proud to live boldly in faith with you. Here we go!” he captioned.

The news comes just a day after the pair were snapped by paparazzi as Pratt appeared to be moving Katherine, daughter of Arnold and Maria Shriver, out her home in Santa Monica.

Pratt met Schwarzenegger in June this year, following his split with actress wife Anna Faris after nine years of marriage in August, 2017.

They settled their divorce in November last year, and have a son, six-year-old Jack, together.

A source told People: “They’re both serious about the relationship and hopeful for the future. Chris doesn’t just date to date, and neither does Katherine. She’s very excited.

“Chris and Katherine are very happy together. They’re very compatible and have a lot in common.”

The father of the bride speech should be a doozy.

The news comes days after the devout Pratt announced he was taking on the biblically-inspired ‘Daniel Fast’, which he describes as ’21 days of prayer and fasting’.
