Claudia Winkleman, 49, has won our fashion crown after wearing leggings - that's right, leggings - to the first Strictly Come Dancing results show of the series.

A woman after our hearts, the presenter didn't just wear any leggings, she wore £12 River Island 3/4 length pedal pushers (oh yes, '90s style) and yes, before you ask, they're still available to buy.

Winkleman paired them with a pair of nude, suede Gianvito Rossi pumps and a textured black Zara blazer. Another fabulous high-street find at £69.99.

The structured blazer has a thin lapel collar and shoulder pads. Winkleman chose to fasten the bottom two buttons of hers, but it looks equally chic unbuttoned.

The overall look is remarkably high-end for a full outfit that comes in under £100.

"Yes, leggings," Winkleman wrote about her outfit on Instagram, clearly sharing the same enthusiasm for the, dare we say it, loungewear.

Winkleman wasn't the only one wearing a '90s throwback. Tess Daly, 52, wore an all-white ensemble complete with flared white trousers.

The pair both kept their hair similar to the previous night's show with Daly choosing a sleek up-do and Winkleman's signature fringe parted slightly in the middle.

If the second week of Strictly Come Dancing tells us anything about the rest of the series, it's that Daly and Winkleman love to give a little nod to one another with their outfit choices.

In the first show of the second weekend, both opted for James Bond-esque thigh-split dresses, while the result's show theme was more of an androgynous '90s throwback.

Yes, Winkleman's leggings may've divided opinion on social media, but if leggings are wrong then we don't want to be right. Shop an
