Yahoo Movies Clerks 3 finally confirms UK cinema release date
Clerks III is making the move across the pond and gearing up for its UK cinema debut.
The third outing in the film series created by Kevin Smith will be shown in London from September 16.
Central London favourite The Prince Charles Cinemas announced it will welcome the Quick Stop crew onto their screens, making tickets available to pre-order from today (August 18). It is not clear whether other independent theatres and cinema chains will join in at present.

Written and directed by Smith, the third chapter in the convenience store saga sees Randal Graves (Jeff Anderson) surviving a heart attack that has given him a renewed lust for life.
Together with his friend and co-worker Dante Hicks (Brian O'Halloran), Randal decides to make his own movie, focusing on his friends' lives at Quick Stop.
The plot is inspired by a near-fatal cardiac episode Smith suffered in 2018. In 2021, the filmmaker revealed Clerks III would draw from his own life, saying it had been "oddly triggering" for him to revisit his heart attack to write Randal's scenes.
He said, "[...] it was the first time in awhile I contemplated how close I came to shuffling loose this mortal coil. But far more than make me mindful of my own mortality, this script to Clerks III makes me laugh out loud."

With Jay Mewes and Smith returning as Jay and Silent Bob and Rosario Dawson reprising the role of Becky Scott, the threequel is set to be a heartfelt celebration of the franchise.
As the trailer confirmed, Clerks III includes several famous cameos, with the likes of Buffy's Sarah Michelle Gellar, Justice League's Ben Affleck and New Girl's Justin Long making an appearance.
Clerks 3 will be playing in US cinemas on September 13 and 15, while it will hit selected UK theatres on September 16.
