Coleen Nolan has denied that she’s a bully after her sensational confrontation with former Celebrity Big Brother housemate Kim Woodburn on Loose Women.

Woodburn stormed off the show on Wednesday morning, but not before branding Coleen ‘lying trash’ and ‘a con artist’.

The pair famously fell out while appearing on the 2017 series of CBB, during which Woodburn, who fell out with many of her housemates during the series, claimed she was ganged up on and bullied.

Her appearance on Loose Women was billed as a reconciliation, but things went quickly awry, Woodburn later calling the interview an ‘ambush’.

Speaking to the Daily Mirror, Nolan said: “Anyone that knows me knows I’m not a bully. That would be the most hurtful thing people could call me.

“I didn’t want to do the reunion. It was the producers who said she wanted to make peace. I agreed because I was happy to draw a line under past differences

“From the moment she arrived, it was clear Kim didn’t want to make up. Now I wish I could go back in time and not do it. It was ugly, upsetting and unpleasant for everyone.

“Kim even had a go at Linda Robson, who is one of the nicest women I know. She hates me for a reason I will never understand.”

She added: “I wish Kim well. I hate to see anyone unhappy. But I want to forget we ever met again. I will never appear on a show with her again. It is better we keep to our own paths.”

The segment has now received almost 3,500 complaints to Ofcom, the majority aimed at the panel’s perceived treatment of Woodburn on the show.

A spokeswoman for the TV watchdog said: “We are assessing these complaints against our broadcasting rules, before deciding whether or not to investigate.”

Woodburn has since said that Nolan should be fired from the panel of Loose Women.

According to The Sun, more than 230,000 viewers switched off during the row, which saw Woodburn storm off set in tears.

Many viewers tweeted concern for Woodburn’s well-being, and criticised the show’s producers for having her on in the first place.
