Colin Firth Sick Of Talking About Emma Stone Age Gap
Emma Stone and Colin Firth play adversaries with a romantic spark in Woody Allen’s latest period comedy ‘Magic In The Moonlight’. And when we caught up with them in Paris, we were interested in how the pair (Firth is 54, Stone 25) managed the age difference on-screen.
“I felt old,” says Firth. “If there’s going to be an age difference, you don’t really want to be on the unflattering end of it.”
You can watch the whole of Colin’s thoughtful, but slightly weary answer in our exclusive video above.

While we had them together, we were also keen to find out how educated the ‘Amazing Spider-Man 2’ actress was about Firth’s wet-shirted past.
“I knew about the Darcys,” says Stone. “I knew quite a bit about Colin, but not the full history of his hunkdom.”
As to whether she’s one of the thousands of women across the world who’ve swooned when he emerged from a lake in ‘Pride and Prejudice’.
“I’ve still never seen it,” she says before turning to her co-star. “Would you be friends with me anymore if I saw it? Because you know I would text you?”
“It would definitely put a strain on our relationship,” says Colin.
“I’m going to watch it,” laughs Emma.
‘Magic In The Moonlight’ is set in the south of France in the 1920s and follows a cynical magician (Firth) travelling to the continent to debunk a young woman (Stone) who claims to be a spiritual medium. Inevitably, love threatens to blossom.
‘Magic In The Moonlight is released on Friday 19 September. Watch the trailer below.
