Combined Endemol Shine Distribution Entity Gets Name; Exec Team Outlined

In December, 21st Century Fox and Apollo Global Management, joint owners of the newly-formed global TV giant Endemol Shine Group, said they would merge Shine International and Endemol Worldwide Distribution under CEO Cathy Payne. With a little over a month to go before the Mip-TV market in Cannes, the group has more clearly defined the operation, and given it a name: Endemol Shine International.

Owned and third-party scripted and non-scripted content now under the umbrella includes Broadchurch, Peaky Blinders, The Fall, Grantchester, MasterChef, My Kitchen Rules and Mr Bean.

The combined entity will focus on finished programming distribution and has hubs in eight countries, including new offices in Singapore and Mumbai. The group’s presence in France, Australia and New Zealand will also expand.

LA-based EVP of Sales & Acquisitions, Matt Creasey, will lead distribution operations across the Americas, Asia, Australia and New Zealand. In Europe, London-based Executive Director, Mark Lawrence, will oversee Endemol Shine International’s teams across the region. Also based in London are CFO John Richards and Jan Rowland who becomes Endemol Shine International’s Head of Operations.

Other execs who are taking new posts in Europe include James Braham as Endemol Shine International’s Senior Sales Director UK & Ireland, and Lisette Schlippe who becomes Senior Sales Director Germany & Major Central and Eastern Europe.

In France, where Endemol’s and Shine’s operations are run separately, Shine International’s Priscilla Siney and EWD’s Solange Ribeiro-Murphy will both continue as Senior Sales Directors for French Territories.

Elsewhere, EWD’s Kirsten Cargill and Shine International’s Lisa Higginson are Senior Sales Director and Sales Director for Australia and New Zealand. Senior Sales Director, Asia, Rashmi Bajpai, is based in the new distribution office in Mumbai.
