Community movie gets promising update from star Donald Glover
Donald Glover has provided an exciting update for the upcoming Community movie, revealing that the script is now completed.
The star played Troy Barnes in the first five seasons of the NBC sitcom, which concluded in 2015 after six seasons and 110 episodes.
There have been rumours of a movie continuation ever since the finale aired in 2015, with the Peacock project having a hectic development due to various factors.

The wheels seem to be heading in the right direction now, however, with Glover telling ET that the script for the movie has now been completed.
“I was told that the script - literally, I was texting today - I was told that the script was done,” he revealed. “I haven't read it yet. It's really just a schedule thing [but] I'm in. I'm all in.”
The latest development comes after creator Dan Harmon revealed that the now-resolved disputes in Hollywood had caused the project to be delayed, with the producer saying that schedules had been altered.
The creator had previously confirmed Glover’s involvement in the project, saying: “Well, [Donald Glover's] coming back, and that's really important. The fact that we even got Donald to do it... that was the big piece.

“But, I think everyone's coming back. So far, we're pretty good, and I think that will happen. If not, then, you know, Donald will be there. See? It'll just be Donald. It'll just be an episode of Atlanta.”
In addition to Glover, the cast for Community included Joel McHale, Gillian Jacobs, Danny Pudi, Yvette Nicole Brown, Alison Brie and Ken Jeong, with the series following the characters as they attend community college.
