Coronation Street actors Sally Carman and Joe Duttine have announced that they’ve moved in together by posting a sweet photograph of the two of them in their new home.

Carman - who plays Abi Franklin on the long-running soap - took to Instagram on Monday 10 November to upload a snap of the loved-up pair sharing a cuddle and a celebratory bottle of wine in their sparkling kitchen.

“We’re in,” she wrote, alongside a yellow heart emoji and the hashtags, ‘#homesweethome’ and ‘#thelightisntwonkypromise’.”

Several of their co-stars took to the comments section to share their well-wishes, including Jack P Shepherd - who plays David Platt - and Faye Windass actor Ellie Leach.

“Oh howwwwww cuteeee,” Brooke Vincent - who has played Sophie Webster on the show since 2004 - added.

Bhavna Limachia, who left Corrie earlier this year following her character Rana Habeeb’s death, replied: “Congrats guys! Looks lush.”

Elsewhere, family friend Kate Magowan gushed: “Oh happy days!”

Carman and Duttine - who portrays Tim Metcalfe on the ITV show - first struck up rumours that they were dating when they spotted together at a charity auction at the Lowry Hotel in Manchester in March.

It seems as if the twosome became an item long before that though. Back in June of this year, Carman shared a selfie of Joe - who goes by Johnny Duttine on the social media - to commemorate their one year anniversary.

Carman’s character Abi arrived in Weatherfield back in 2017, as Seb Franklin’s mother. It soon became apparent that she’d suffered with drug and alcohol dependency before making her way to the cobbles.

Tim, father of Faye, was introduced four years earlier and is now married to Sally Metcalfe (Sally Dynevor). Funnily enough, Abi now seems to be growing closer to Sally’s ex Kevin Webster.
