Yahoo Movies Coronation Street's Amy Barlow arrested in new scenes

Amy Barlow has been arrested as she continues to take a stand against drink spiking in Coronation Street.
Earlier this week, Amy confided in new friend Kate that she's not dealt with the trauma of being raped, leading to her later breaking down in Summer's arms.
In Wednesday's (November 15) episode, Amy became determined to do her part to stop drink spiking by organising a march with her friends.

When Amy and her friends set off to their protest, local bully Mason angered Amy by mocking her hand-maid placards. In a fit of rage, Amy went to hit Mason with a placard before a cop stopped her.
Amy's friends couldn't believe it as she started arguing with the police officer, eventually dumping a can of paint on his squad car. The cop had no choice but to arrest Amy for criminal damage.
However, at the police station, DS Swain took over the interrogation and chose to let Amy off with a warning, though she encouraged her to move on with her life.
Back on the cobbles, Amy met up with Aadi and shared her frustrations about her arrest because she was just trying to do what was right.

The two had a heart-to-heart conversation where Aadi also opened up to Amy about his failed relationship with Courtney and bad date with Asha's friend Isla.
While Amy told Aadi she'd be heading home to work on her essay, an eerie final scene saw her arriving at a nightclub she'd previously visited.
Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV1 and streams on ITVX.
