Daisy Edgar-Jones lands new role in exciting project
Daisy Edgar-Jones has landed a new role in a theatre show, featuring an impressive cast.
According to BBC News, the actor will star in a production of Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, which will run for eight weeks at the Almeida Theatre in London.
Written by Tennessee Williams, the 1955 play follows the wealthy Pollitt family as they gather for their patriarch's birthday celebration. The story unveils tension within the family, as secrets are exposed in a bid for power and control.

The Normal People star will share the stage with Line of Duty's Lennie James, Barbie's Kingsley Ben-Adir, and the previously announced Luther star Ruth Wilson.
Other cast members include Holby City's Guy Burgess, Seb Carrington, Clare Burt, Ukweli Roach, The Power's Ria Zmitrowicz and Derek Hagen. It is currently unclear which characters each of the cast will play.
Cat on a Hot Tin Roof will be directed by Rebecca Frecknall, with tickets going on general sale on September 27.

Meanwhile, Edgar-Jones recently worked alongside Euphoria's Jacob Elordi on a new drama.
Based on the novel by Shannon Pufahl, On Swift Horses follows Muriel (Edgar-Jones) and her new husband Lee (Elordi), who has just returned from the Korean War.
Muriel becomes restless after moving from her rural Kansas home to a dusty San Diego bungalow. However, things change with the arrival of Lee's gambler brother Julius.
After Julius leaves for Las Vegas, Muriel starts to lead a double life, sneaking off to the racetrack to learn the tricks of the gambling trade.
Cat on a Hot Tin Roof will run from December 10, 2024 to February 1, 2025 at the Almeida Theatre in London.
