Daisy Ridley's London-set thriller confirms UK release

Daisy Ridley's London-set thriller Cleaner finally has a UK release date.

Directed by Martin Campbell, the film sees "a group of radical activists who take over an energy company's annual gala, seizing 300 hostages in order to expose the corruption of the hosts" (per Deadline).

The synopsis continues: "Their just cause is hijacked by a zealous extremist within their ranks, who is ready to murder everyone in the building to send his anarchic message to the world."

It's left to Ridley's character, an ex-soldier turned window cleaner, to save the day in the action-packed film, also starring Clive Owen and Taz Skylar.
