Dan Stevens teams up with Lily James for new movie
Dan Stevens has joined up with Lily James for his latest project, with the pair set to star in a biopic about the founder of Bumble.
According to Deadline, the duo are attached to a currently untitled project inspired by the life of Whitney Wolfe Herd, the creator of the dating app.
James is set to produce the feature and play the role of the entrepreneur, with Stevens reportedly lined up to play her business partner. The script has been penned by Rachel Lee Goldenberg, Bill Parker and Kim Caramele, with Goldernberg also serving as director.

Stevens has been in the spotlight recently with two features, Abigail and Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire, currently in cinemas. The latter saw the star reunite with director Adam Wingard following their collaboration on The Guest, with Stevens speaking to us about the reunion.
“That was one of the delightful things really, is that Adam and I have been friends since The Guest,” he said. “We've hung out a lot, talked about all sorts of different things in the meantime. Then this one came along.
“Getting to play with bigger toys, at the core of the set, there is the same sense of humour, fun and fandom [that is] steeped in cinema. With Adam, there's still the kid who worked in the video store and watched every movie in that video store over and over again.

“There's still that guy on set running the show and breathing life into a film like that who can really communicate to the fans. He did that with The Guest and he's doing that with this.”
Whilst the pair worked together very recently, Stevens did provide a disappointing update regarding a potential sequel to The Guest, saying that they were concentrating on “many other projects.”
Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire is in cinemas now.
