Dennis Quaid Has Angry Meltdown On-Set, But Is It Real?

Golden Globe-nominated actor Dennis Quaid has been filmed having an f-word-laden meltdown on a film set, but is it all an elaborate prank?

Our swearword free version of the video is above, while the original, very NSFW video is here.

In clip, taken on someone’s mobile phone and uploaded to YouTube, Quaid is annoyed that someone walks onto set during a take. He then “freaks out” as the uploader puts it, saying:

“I am acting here, and this dickhead wanders onto my set … Don’t f*cking Dennis me … I’m a pro, this is the most unprofessional set I have ever been on! … This is horsesh*t! … I’ve got these f*cking zombies over here that I have to look at, I have a bunch of p*ssies staring at me … Blow me!”

The video naturally spawned a Reddit thread, with some commenters saying that it’s an elaborate prank for the Jimmy Kimmel US chat show.

On the other hand, Quaid doesn’t have a film to promote for the next few months, so it’s unclear why he’d be working with Kimmel on such a stunt. The fact it’s filmed on a mobile phone (which is lowered to the floor for much of the video) could also suggest it’s genuine.

Either way, we’re sure the truth will out soon enough, but in the meantime let us know you’re thoughts on Quaid’s meltdown, fake or otherwise, below.
