Awards ceremonies aren't what they used to be, with celebs tuning in virtually from their sofas - ballgown on and champagne in hand.

Despite the knock-on effect lockdown has had on these star-studded events, it hasn't stopped attendees from getting glitzed up for the occasion, as if they were still preparing to walk down the red carpet and pose for the paparazzi.

Case in point: the recent 2021 Golden Globe Awards, where Gal Gadot worked some serious vintage vibes with a curled bob, Tiffany Hadish bleached her cropped hair, and Margot Robbie unveiled the lob of dreams.

Celebrities didn't disappoint for Sunday night's Critics' Choice Awards either, but one actress who caught our eye in particular was Emma Corrin, best known for playing Diana in The Crown. She wore a Schiaparelli dress featuring teeth (casual), but drew viewers' attention for a more understated reason - removing all of her makeup before accepting her award for Best Actress in a Drama Series.

Emma obviously wasn't expecting to bag the win, because earlier on in the night she unveiled a gorgeous smoky eye and pink lip - but when she dialled in from the UK, she was still in her dress, but fresh-faced.

Emma went on to explain that it was 2am where she was, so we don't blame her for reaching for the micellar water before her big win - that's a late night by anyone's standards...

We bet she had her slipper son underneath that "teeth" dress too. Our kinda girl...
