Did Doctor Strange Writer Just Accidentally Revealed Film’s Secret Villain?

WARNING: There are some potential ‘Doctor Stranger’ spoilers ahead. Maybe.

When Dan Harmon, the lauded creator and writer of ‘Community’ and various other shows and films, was brought on to conduct a few last-minute re-writes for ‘Doctor Strange’, Marvel Studios almost certainly expected him to keep his mouth firmly shut regarding the blockbuster’s secrets.

Technically, Harmon has done just that. But when Dan Harmon pulled up a file on his computer during a recent episode of his Harmontown podcast to show off his work on a possible ‘Community’ film he might have accidentally revealed a secret from the upcoming film.

But the eagle-eyed Reddit user Bifrost5, via Heroic Hollywood, soon spotted another document on the screen entitled, “Strange Confront Dormammu.”

Currently, it’s believed that Mad Mikkelsen will be playing ‘Doctor Strange’s’ villain, which will be Kaecillius. But the appearance of Dormammu is expected at some point considering the villain’s notorious past opposite ‘Doctor Strange’, which dates all the way back to 1964.

There are two trains of thoughts regarding the above. Maybe Dan Harmon knew exactly what he was doing and just wanted to get the internet into a bit of a whirl. Or Dan Harmon made a humungous mistake and he has already been reprimanded by Kevin Feige for his actions.

We’ll finally find out if Dormammu is actually involved in the film, and Harmon indeed made a big boo boo, when ‘Doctor Strange’ is released by November 4.
