Why Did Lauren Conrad Have A Whopping 10 Bridesmaids? Lauren Reveals Her Reason
Lauren Conrad just had an incredibly elegant wedding, but one thing that stuck out in a lot of people’s minds was the amount of bridesmaids that Lauren had.
The former reality TV star had a whopping 10 bridesmaids when she married William Tell last Saturday. Now the 28-year-old is revealing just why she decided to have so many bridesmaids.
In a new post on her blog, she wrote: "When it came time to choose my 'maids, my motto was the more the merrier."

Apparently, Lauren felt like this was a great decision. She explained that she didn’t mind that the bridal party was so large since it was filled with her best friends.
“I didn't mind the idea of having a large bridal party… to a point (you don't want more people standing up than in seats!)," she explained. "It really is a personal preference, and I knew that having a bigger bridal party with all of my best friends was the way to go. So, I chose my sister and a bunch of my besties to do me the honor of being my bridesmaids, and I couldn't be happier with my decision."

Now that Lauren had chosen her bridesmaids, the next part was to dress them all. This was no easy task, and therefore Lauren gave them a selection of dresses to choose from as opposed to her telling them exactly which dress to wear.
"I sent them all the different shapes and let them pick from two colors," she said in an interview with Martha Stewart Weddings. "I don't mind if there are a few girls in the same dress, or if people are all in different ones. It's too difficult to take a group of girls and put them in the same color and silhouette; everyone has their own style…They're all individuals, so it's nice that it doesn't look too uniform."
Some of Lauren’s bridesmaids included Lo Bosworth who also starred in Laguna Beach, and her younger sister Breanna who was in season three of Laguna Beach.
