Djed Spence & Ao Tanaka to Leeds United and 11 other transfers which could happen before summer window deadline

The Rangers midfielder is poised to leave Ibrox with reports emerging on Sunday morning Leeds had submitted a bid for the player.
Leeds United have until 11pm on Friday to wrap up the remainder of their summer transfer business as the window shuts before Saturday’s visit of Sheffield Wednesday.
Joel Piroe became the club’s latest signing as he penned a four-year contract last week and netted on his debut in Saturday’s 4-3 win at Ipswich Town. He joins Ethan Ampadu, Karl Darlow, Sam Byram and Joe Rodon as new arrivals at Elland Road this summer.
A host of players have left the Whites since last season’s relegation from the Premier League with the club hoping to seal a handful of transfer deals this week to bolster Daniel Farke’s options until the January window opens.
The Leicester City player is reportedly close to a move to Premier League side Nottingham Forest. It is a move which would certainly represent a blow to Leeds’ Championship rivals. The Foxes have won all four of their league outings so far.

Sticking with the league leaders, who are set to lose one of their right-backs to Fulham. The Belgian international has not made an appearance for the Foxes this season, with widespread reports he is on the cusp of moving to Craven Cottage.
The Liverpool defender looks set to be on his way out of Anfield with academy graduate Jarell Quansah replacing him in the squad for Sunday’s win over Newcastle. Leeds have been credited with an interest but recent reports claim Stuttgart want to bring him back to Germany after a loan spell there in 2019-20.
The Tottenham Hotspur defender has struggled for game time since his move from Middlesbrough last summer. Reports on Monday suggested he’s an option for Leeds, with any move likely to be a loan rather than a permanent deal.
The Saints have already seen two bids rejected for the Swansea City man who Michael Duff insists the Welsh club plan to keep. However, reports are a third bid is being prepared as Russell Martin targets one of his former players.
The former Leeds United player is a target for Coventry City with reports Barnsley have rejected bids around the £3million mark for the player. It remains to be seen if Coventry will return with an improved offer or if Barnsley will keep their man beyond the deadline.
Sunderland are close to signing the player, according to the latest reports in Ukraine. The player is set for a medical as he awaits a work permit. Leeds face Sunderland in December with the return fixture in April.
Owls boss Xisco Munoz is aiming to add to his squad before Saturday’s trip to Elland Road. Stating: “We’re working hard to find some players that can come from the Premier League and help the situation.” Wednesday have already signed 10 players this summer.
The Nottingham Forest defender is surplus to requirement at the City Ground and looks set for a move to the Championship with Birmingham City, Swansea City & Cardiff City credited with an interest.
Leeds are said to be pushing for a deal to sign Nottingham Forest star Lewis O’Brien. Forest reportedly want as much as £10million for O’Brien, but it’s claimed the Whites could be pushing for a loan deal.
Leeds are also said to be interested in a move for Fortuna Dusseldorf midfielder Ao Tanaka. According to BILD, Tanaka is pushing for a departure from Fortuna this summer, and Leeds are said to have submitted an offer. Watch this space.
The Athletic are reporting that Leicester City left-back Luke Thomas is also on the Whites’ radar. The Foxes are reportedly unsure about loaning the 22-year-old to a Championship rival. Thomas is another England under-21s international.
