Don Mischer to Produce 2015 Emmy Awards

Don Mischer will return as the producer of this year’s Emmy Awards, along with partners Charlie Haykel and Juliane Hare. The telecast will air live on Sunday, September 20, on Fox, and will be hosted by Andy Samberg.

“It’s been a great year in television,” said Don Mischer. “Celebrating the best of the season is a thrill for us, and having the talented and hilarious Andy Samberg on board as host will make for a can’t-miss celebration.”

This year’s edition will mark the 13th time that Don Mischer Productions will be helming the Emmy telecast. The Mischer team has also produced the Academy Awards, the Billboard Music Awards, and the Opening Ceremonies of the Winter and Summer Olympics.

Mischer also produced last year’s Emmys on NBC, which drew 15.6 million viewers.

The nominations for the Emmy Awards will be announced on Thursday, July 16.
