Drew Barrymore Recalls Heartwarming Moment Daughter Olive, 11, Surprised Her by Putting on Her Wedding Dress
The actress shares her daughters Olive and Frankie, 9, with ex Will Kopelman
Drew Barrymore's daughter had a special surprise for her mom the other day.
On Monday's episode of The Drew Barrymore Show, the actress, 49, shared a story about a heartwarming moment she recently shared with her 11-year-old daughter Olive. Barrymore is mom to Olive and daughter Frankie, 9, who she shares with ex Will Kopelman.
"The other night I came home and I was told that Olive had a surprise for me. And so I came in the room and she was standing there in my wedding dress," the mom of two recalled. "And I looked at her and I was like, 'Oh my god, you look so beautiful!'"
"I go, 'You know, that's actually technically the second time you wore that dress because you were six months in my belly when I wore it. And I'm saving it for you and your sister,' " Barrymore continued.

In March, Barrymore revealed that she and her two daughters had met Ariana Grande after visiting the set of Saturday Night Live.
“We went… to Saturday Night Live to watch her perform and we ended up getting to hang out with her and talk with her,” Barrymore recalled on an episode of her daytime show.
The star continued, saying that they “all sat around chit-chatting and talking” at one point and called meeting the pop star “the biggest gift.”
“She is so kind, so nice, so present [and] was so amazing to my girls,” Barrymore said of the singer.
“My daughters and I are on such a high. She went from being like our idol to our model and now I know I need to listen to her nonna,” she joked, referring to Grande’s song “Ordinary Things” which features her 98-year-old grandmother.
Barrymore shared with PEOPLE last month that she had been encouraging her girls to find their own dreams and explore their passions as they get older.
“I love it when my girls get into sports. To me, girls in sports are so awesome. It's the coolest thing I've ever witnessed. Whether my one daughter is doing figure skating or my other daughter is doing soccer, I will be there at every event. I will not miss one, because it's so important for me to support them in that area,” she said.
“I also like it when they're creative and artistic — when they put on a dance, or they do a play at home, or they dress up,” Barrymore continued. “They're the fun things that are ageless and timeless.”
