If there is one celebrity who can make a compelling case for a specific hot-button fad, it's fashion darling Dua Lipa. In fact, the singer sometimes invents the trends herself (see: teeny-tiny bedazzled bra and undies over tights). The latest fixation to sweep the industry is the bow (as seen on the streets and runways over at Paris Fashion Week), and the sweet feminine accessory just got the Dua Lipa stamp of approval.

Earlier this week, the performer was photographed out and about in a charcoal-colored minidress and matching oversized trench coat, and while the juxtaposition and monochromatic separates made for a sophisticated OOTD, it was the big black velvet bow on the collar that stole the show. Lipa kept her long suit jacket open to reveal the accent, as well as a pair of black stockings and coordinating shoes. Her accessories included hoop earrings and a silver baguette bag with a giant horse-bit detail. Her burgundy hair was styled in a middle part and crimped waves, and she finished off the look with smudged black eyeliner and a mauve lip.

Earlier on Wednesday evening, the star attended the London premiere of her upcoming film Argylle, which hits theaters Feb. 2. The star wore a glittery purple strapless dress covered in sequins from top to bottom. On the yellow carpet, she posed alongside her co-stars John Cena, Bryce Dallas Howard, Ariana DeBose, Henry Cavill, and more.

Lipa has kept busy with the spy flick and new music. On Thursday, the star announced the release of her next single titled “Training Season," slated to drop on Feb. 15. In the meantime, the artist shared a short clip of the song with her followers in a TikTok that shows her mouthing the lyrics.

And until then, we'll have "Houdini" on repeat.
