‘Dune: Part Two’ Guide: Everything to Know Right Now About Denis Villeneuve’s Sequel

It’s no surprise: All signs were pointing to a “Dune” sequel by the time Denis Villeneuve’s adaptation of Frank Herbert’s novel opened in U.S. theaters (then Warner Bros. CEO Ann Sarnoff all but confirmed a follow-up movie on October 21, 2021, the day before the film’s opening). On October 26 of that year came official confirmation from Legendary Entertainment and Warner Bros. that  “Dune: Part Two” was officially a go.

Timothée Chalamet, Rebecca Ferguson, Josh Brolin, Stellan Skarsgård, Dave Bautista, Stephen McKinley Henderson, Zendaya, Charlotte Rampling, and Javier Bardem are all set to reprise their roles from their first film, with some new (and Oscar-nominated) talents like Florence Pugh and Austin Butler joining the cast.
