Dungeons & Dragons sequel gets exciting update from Chris Pine

Chris Pine has offered an exciting update for a sequel to Dungeons & Dragons: Honour Among Thieves.

The adaptation of the tabletop game received positive reviews from critics, but its slight underperformance at the box office has put the prospect of a sequel in doubt.

There’s good news, however, with lead star Pine offering a promising update for the follow-up, telling GamesRadar+: “I've heard some rumours about it, but I don't know anything yet. I feel pretty confident that it may happen. [I’d] absolutely [return].”

The first followed Edgin Darvis (Pine) and his ragtag crew of misfits as they sought to rescue his daughter from the clutches of Forge Fitzwilliam (Hugh Grant), with the supporting cast including Michelle Rodriguez, Sophia Lillis and Justice Smith.

Smith, who played sorcerer Simon Aumar, previously spoke exclusively with Digital Spy about his role, revealing that he worked tirelessly with the crew to develop the character’s movements.

“They had paired me with this choreographer, and she had a lot of really great ideas. We kind of just worked together to figure out what the spells were going to look like,” he said.
