Dwayne Johnson 'refuses to concede' his Sexiest Man Alive title to Michael B. Jordan

Michael B. Jordan has won the title of Sexiest Man Alive for 2020 fair and square.

He was overwhelmingly voted in by People magazine last week, adding that it was 'a cool feeling' and that he feels it's a 'good club to be a part of'.

But previous Sexiest Man Alive, Dwayne Johnson, who won the accolade back in 2016, is refusing to concede.

Taking to Instagram, The Rock said, in all caps: “I CONCEDE NOTHING!”

Pleasingly, the wink emoji confirmed that it was merely Johnson taking a leaf out of the book of Donald Trump who, despite weeks after having lost the presidential election, is still refusing to acknowledge his defeat.

Johnson added: “Congrats to my brother @michaelbjordan on the new sexy crown.”

The Fast & Furious star came out in support of democratic candidates Joe Biden and Kamala Harris during the presidential campaign.

He said: “As a political independent and centrist for many years, I’ve voted for Democrats in the past and as well as Republican.

“In this critical election, I believe Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are the best to lead our country, and as my first ever (public) Presidential endorsement, I proudly endorse them for the presidential office of our United States.”

He added in a video message to fans: “Truth can sometimes be really difficult to hear, and for that reason sometimes people don’t speak it. But you cannot have trust if you don’t speak the truth,” he said in a message to fans.”

Once Biden had secured his win, Johnson added that he had 'cried manly tears'.
