At this point, we’ve all heard more than enough about the infamous Oscars debacle that saw ‘La La Land’ briefly named as the Best Picture winner rather than ‘Moonlight’.

But there’s one man’s perspective that everyone immediately needs to hear, because Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, who had stellar seats on the second row for the ceremony, has take to Instagram to discussion his reaction.

The former WWE star admitted that as it began to unfold he suddenly kicked into action and was prepared to hurtle over Meryl Streep in front of him to take down what he believed was an Oscars producer gone rogue. You can read Dwayne Johnson’s recollections regarding the biggest screw-up in Academy Awards history below.

I think we can all safely say that this is the last chapter that we need to hear on the above. I mean, what other version could top that?

I particularly like the idea of Dwayne Johnson and Matt Damon using their ‘Fast & Furious’ and ‘Jason Bourne’ skills to systematically take down an Oscars producer that was actually just trying to get the Best Picture gong into the rightful hands.

Fingers crossed enough artistic license is taken on the inevitable big-screen adaptation of the incident to show us that interpretation of events. In the meantime, though, the above picture of Hollywood’s finest in disarray will just have to do.
