Elle Fanning looked every bit like modern empress at the premiere of the third season of her series The Great.
The actress joined her co-stars at the event held in Los Angeles yesterday evening. For the occasion, she channeled her character, Catherine the Great, in a golden slipdress. The embroidered, shimmering silk piece from Celine by Hedi Slimane featured barely-there spaghetti straps and sequins all over.
She paired it simply with golden sandals and a diamond bracelet and ring. As for glam, Fanning looked regal in a neat side-parted bun and natural rosy makeup.
Fanning has proven to be incredibly versatile with her fashion.
At Chanel's 2023 Cruise show earlier this week, she looked so chic in a sparkling all-black suit look. The suit was made up of a shimmering tweed blazer in a painterly white floral print, and super-high-waisted pants entirely covered in sequins and featuring a silky strap at the top. She layered the blazer over a dainty black-and-silver top with a single button, and no bra underneath.
In a big contrast, she attended this year's Met Gala looking like a fairy princess. She wore a white lace gown by Andreas Kronthaler for Vivienne Westwood, plus a cropped black jacket, and a flower crown tied around her head with black ribbons.
And earlier this year, she enjoyed a fashion party with older sister Dakota Fanning in a gray pinstripe suit from Stella McCartney's fall/winter 2023 collection, composed of a buttoned vest (which she wore by itself, without a shirt underneath) and low-rise, wide-leg trousers.
Season three of The Great is now available to stream on Hulu.
