Ellie Warner's boyfriend 'fighting for his life'
Ellie Warner's boyfriend is reportedly "fighting for his life" after being hit by a car.
The 'Gogglebox' star's partner, Nat Eddleston, is said to be on life support in an intensive care unit after suffering a broken neck and collapsed lungs following an accident in Leeds in the early hours of Saturday (19.03.22) morning.
An unnamed family member told The Sun on Sunday newspaper: “Nat is in intensive care with a broken neck, broken back, two collapsed lungs and possible brain damage.
"He is on a life support machine and all the family and Ellie are obviously very worried for him.”
Nat had been out drinking with friends at his local pub before he was hit by a white Seat Leon travelling out of the city shortly after midnight.
The vehicle reportedly continued for around 100 yards before stopping and was left with a smashed windscreen and dented roof.
West Yorkshire police are appealing for witnesses.
They wrote on Twitter: “Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious road traffic collision in the Halton area of Leeds involving a white Seat Leon and an adult male pedestrian.
“Officers would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the collision, which occurred on Selby Road near to The Woodman pub at around 00:10 this morning (Saturday 19th March 2022).
“The pedestrian has suffered serious injuries as a result of the collision.
“Anyone who witnessed the incident or the Seat being driven prior to the collision, including anyone with dash-cam or video footage, is asked to call 101, or contact online via www.westyorkshire.police.uk/101livechat referencing collision 13220147973.”
Nat had recently moved in with Ellie, who has appeared on the Channel 4 telly-watching programme with her sister Izzi since 2015.
The hairdresser's boyfriend has also made occasional appearances on the programme over the years.
Ellie has yet to speak publicly about Nat's accident.
Her most recent social media post featuring her boyfriend was on Valentine's Day last month.
Sharing a photo of Nat with a kebab, she wrote at the time: "Happy Valentine’s Day to my one true loves (sic)"
