Emilia Clarke Wants To Be The First Female 007 And Knows Her Ideal Bond Boy

Following in the footsteps of Gillian Anderson, ‘Game of Thrones’ star Emilia Clarke has thrown her hat into the ring to become the first ever female James Bond.

The 29-year-old actress, while on the promotional trail for romantic weepy 'Me Before You, told the Daily Star: “I have a lot of unrealised dreams. I would love to play Jane Bond.”

In May 'X-Files’ actress Anderson retweeted a fan-made poster amid speculation that Daniel Craig is finished with the series. In the tweet, she wrote: “It’s Bond. Jane Bond.”

Revealing who her ideal “Bond Boy” would be, Clarke added: “My ultimate leading man would be Leonardo DiCaprio. No doubt about it.”

It has been rumoured that Craig turned down an enormous £68 million to make two further 'Bond’ flicks after last year’s 'Spectre’ - fuelling speculation that a new Bond is imminent.

The like of Idris Elba, Tom Hardy and, particularly, Tom Hilddeston are among the bookie’s favourites - and over the past couple of years the trio has been inundated with questions about the possibility of playing Bond.

It appears the British actresses of the world are about to get the same questions.
