Emma Corrin gives behind-the-scenes look at the morning after her Golden Globes win

Emma Corrin has updated fans with a behind-the-scenes look at the morning after her Golden Globes win.

The 25-year-old actor, who played Princess Diana in the season four of Netflix’s historical drama series, took home the award for Best Actress in a Drama Series via video link in London on Sunday (28 February) night.

Following her win, Corrin shared pictures to her Instagram Story as she reemerged on Monday (1 March) morning.

One picture, captioned “processing”, showed half of Corrin’s face with her hair looking dishevelled.

In a second photo, the 25-year-old was seen “emerging” from her room while beaming from ear to ear. In the picture, Corrin is wearing a University of Massachusetts jumper and holding a coffee cup.

During her acceptance speech, the British actor thanked Princess Diana.

“You have taught me compassion and empathy beyond any measure that I could ever imagine,” she said.

“On behalf of everyone who remembers you so fondly and passionately in our hearts, thank you.”

The Crown took home four awards at the Golden Globes, including for Best Television Series – Drama and an acting win for her co-star Josh O’Connor.

Celebrating the actor, who starred opposite her as Prince Charles, and his win, Corrin wrote on Instagram: “LOVE YOU LEGEND !!!!!! SCREAMING.”
