Emma Watson really isn't going to be in 50 Shades

Harry Potter actress denies the latest round of rumours linking her to the film

Emma Watson has denied – once again – that she's set to star in the big-screen version of erotic novel '50 Shades of Grey'.

Despite having already distanced herself from the project, rumours have persisted that the 'Harry Potter' star is set to play the lead role of Ana Steele.

Now she's asked her Twitter followers if they really think that such a role is likely to happen.

“Who here actually thinks I would do 50 Shades of Grey as a movie?” she said. “Like really. For real. In real life.”

Last week, hackers who had infiltrated a German file-sharing network claimed that they had found papers from production company Constantin Film that suggested she was attached to the role.

But seemingly not so.

Last summer she spoke out about the rumours - and those which also said she was playing Lisbeth Salander in David Fincher's 'Girl with the Dragon Tattoo' - saying: “I haven’t read the book, I haven’t a read a script, nothing.

“There are so many movies you become attached to when I’ve literally never even received a phone call. It was the same way with 'The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo' – I never even saw a script!”
