Barnes & Thornburg Adds Entertainment Lawyer Carolyn Hunt As Partner

There are more moves at some of the big legal firms as Carolyn Hunt is leaving her position at Loeb & Loeb to join Barnes & Thornburg as partner. Hunt joins the Corporate Department and Entertainment, Media and Sports Practice Group in the firm’s Los Angeles office, B&T announced today. Also joining B&T is entertainment attorney Samuel Roseme.

“The addition of Carolyn and Samuel adds to the strength of the firm’s growing Entertainment, Media and Sports Practice Group,” said Jason Karlov, chair of EMSP group. “Coupled with other recent team additions, their experience continues to enhance our capabilities both regionally and nationally to achieve our goal of providing creative, high-quality legal work to our clients.” With deep experience both domestically and overseas, Hunt’s focus will be on media finance and entertainment transactions, with an emphasis on motion picture and television deals – similar to what she did at L&L. Roseme focuses on the entertainment industry where he handles transactions on behalf of studios, networks, and production companies in connection with the development, production, financing, distribution, and licensing of entertainment properties.
