Yahoo Movies EU mission to visit Kyiv in December to discuss security guarantees — Borrell
In early December 2023, a European Union mission will visit Kyiv to discuss proposals for potential long-term security commitments to Ukraine, Josep Borrell, EU’s High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, announced on Nov. 13.
Borrell said that EU military support and security commitments to Ukraine were the subjects of discussion among foreign ministers of EU member states.

“As you are aware, at the last Council of the European Union, I was tasked by the European leaders to formulate EU's [security] commitments to Ukraine,” said Borrell.

“We are working on this with the member countries. At the beginning of the month, I will send a mission to Ukraine to discuss our proposals with the Ukrainians.”
He also added that the proposals would include an initiative to create a designated section for Ukraine in the European Peace Facility, which will be presented to the Council of the European Union in December.
In November 2022, at the G20 summit, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy presented a 10-point Peace Formula which, among other things, includes the restoration of Ukraine’s territorial integrity, withdrawal of Russian troops, release of all prisoners, a tribunal for those guilty of aggression, and international security guarantees for Ukraine.
